Initially, the "make search" fails because I don't use or care about =
"/usr/ports" except when something strange happens. So I went ahead and =
did a make fetchindex so it would work, then it just gives a list of =
12,300 available programs.=20

=20

So yes, the command as provided returned nothing to start with.

Wait, so does the command : make search 'key=3D.*' | grep glib

=20

Not output anything?

Before the grep, it returns: =20

=20

The search target requires INDEX-13. Please run make index or make =
fetchindex.

=20

So, since the index isn=E2=80=99t really necessary to the pkg system, =
not a useful answer. But for fun=E2=80=A6=20

=20

# make fetchindex

# grep glib

12,300 lines returned.

You may be right about the version number.=20

=20

If you SSH in as root and run : cd /usr/ports && make search 'key=3D.*' =
| grep glib

=20

What does it output?

Using webmin on FreeBSD 13.2

System Info (Dashboard) says there is a package update.

Click it, there are none listed

Refresh using the button, still none listed.

SSH into the machine:

  #pkg upgrade

Updating FreeBSD repository catalogue...

FreeBSD repository is up to date.

All repositories are up to date.< /p>

Checking for upgrades (18 candidates): 100%

Installed packages to be UPGRADED:

        glib: 2.76.4,2 -> 2.76.4_1,2

Number of packages to be upgraded: 1

3 MiB to be downloaded.

I suspect its the "," in the version number breaking things
