Actually I'm not a mod_rewrite expert at all, but I do remember
Rentzsch was of really good help on Apple's WO mailing list.
here's the direct link to his weblog regarding mod_rewrite and WO:
http://rentzsch.com/woWebLog/httpdConfChanges
Also I don't know if this can be used to track session. I know we are
using it in cooperation with a directAction method to display something
like
www.example.com/fr/Pagex
which will be rewritten internally to
www.example.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/application.woa/wa/directAccess?
lang=fr&section=pagex

I hope this will help you.
