As I expected, not much hope for the little guy (company).   A big 
company can draw out the process / counter-sue you out of existence, or 
at least make you shut up and go home with threats of such ...

As is often the case, real innovation may come from the smaller 
companies but the law and government (generally speaking) favours the 
big guys.
