Upgrade to 10.3.9 breaks wotaskd

I upgraded a deployment box (running OS X Client) from 10.3.7 to 10.3.9
using software update run at the command line.

Following the reboot that is required after installation, the WO
services no longer run up (log output at end of email).

I use 10.3.9 Client in my development environment where the WO services
run fine.

If I run wotaskd directly it just comes back with "Segmentation fault"

Has anyone had any similar troubles following an upgrade to 10.3.9?

Failing any better ideas, I guess there is no going back to where I was
before the Mac OS X combined update wiped me out?

javawoservice.sh: `wotaskd' is starting up ...
/System/Library/WebObjects/JavaApplications/wotaskd.woa/Contents/
Resources/javawoservice.sh: line 285: 1202 Segmentation fault
$APP_PATH $APP_ARGS 2>&1 >/dev/null
javawoservice.sh: `wotaskd' exited.
. `wotaskd' terminated with an error (`139'). Scaling wait time ...
. Execution not counted as a success.
javawoservice.sh: `wotaskd' will restart in 5 seconds ...

Thanks
John
