Hi, I know there was much discussions about this in the archives, but I believe this is a slightly different issue with the subnet and multicasting. I have 2 application servers running the same application on different subnets. This is WebObjects version 5.2.3 on Solaris 2.8. The web server (Apache 1.3.31) is on a different machine but on the same subnet as on of the application servers. So the setup is like this: App server: app1.net1.x.x.x App server: app2:net2.x.x.x WebServer: web1.net1.x.x.x The WebObjectsConfig parameter looks like this: WebObjectsConfig http://app1.net1.x.x.x:1085,http://app2.net2.x.x.x:1085 60 We had users experience intermittent "Application Not Found" errors. One minute they'd be working, next they'd get the error. It was corrected by making a second machine app3.net1.x.x.x and removing the reference to app2.net2.x.x.x in the WebObjectsConfig parameter. I thought the multicasting issue was related to running the Monitor on different subnets in the old versions (4.5)? -- Ken Hammer Web Applications & Technologies Services University of Michigan
