We have a machine dedicated to run it with the volume turned up, Hal  
from 2001 yells "Dave, I think you know what the problem is just as  
well as I do." when something is not right. We also have a direct  
action to monitor the apps, page sentry executes that direct action  
which does some checking inside the app, tries a db query etc. If  
that fails pageSentry lets us know.
