i've definitely seen it with one instance of java monitor running, not 
sure if it is after the IOException though - in fact, i saw it this 
morning and we haven't had the IOException for a while (definitely not 
since last reboot of server). it doesn't appear to be a problem though 
as after a few clicks it goes away, i just thought i would throw it in 
the ring as it seemed related to this thread! (and it would seem other 
people have seen it too...).

i guess the question is: what other things could cause wotaskd to lose 
it's connection to the JavaMonitor ?
