WOAdaptor timeout value Vs wotaskd timeout value

Hi,
 
I need a little help to debug a false timeout problem we have with our
applications.
 
In my WOAdaptor page, all my applications have the timeout values (cto / sto
/ rto) set to 3/5/30.
>From the wotaskd page

<adaptor poolsize="0" sendTimeout="180" cnctTimeout="180" confinterval="300"
transport="nbsocket" timeout="180" scheduler="random" retries="6"
recvTimeout="180">
 
which is what I want to set as Timeout.
How comes that WOAdaptor doesn't show these values instead?
I try to delete /tmp/WOAdaptorStat and restart Apache, it doesn't change any
thing.
 
The problem is users receive messages from the applications that their
session is expired when they do a research on the database or just changing
a page. It happens several times in a day and the users have to start over,
it's very annoying.
 
Here is my environment :
WOAdaptor 5.1.3 on Apache 1.3.19 on SuSE Linux
WebObjects 4.5 Update 3 on Windows NT 4.0 Server SP6a
