In my research, it was stated that you could deploy an application developed in the standard way in WebObjects by selecting to deploy it as a WAR. You would therefore not need to change your pages from html to jsp.

Has anyone had any success or some across any problems with this?

Subject: Deploying WebObjects on WebSphere or Tomcat.

We currently have an application in WebObjects 4.5. We have a client that wishes to use this application but deploy it on WebSphere or Tomcat. In order to deploy on these servers, we will need to convert our application to 5.2. Once converted, will this application be deployable on these servers?

What will we need to change in the application in order to get this working? Because it is a 4.5 application, we do not use EJB or any JSPS, we only used the Woa.

Where can I find documentation regarding this?

  Thank you,
  Rob
