WOBuilder EOModeler and ProjectBuilder are not starting up

I am trying to move to a newer laptop and have installed all of the WO tools, however none of them will get past the splash screen. Anyone got any ideas about where I can check for error messages or log files. I am running the following setup: WO 5.2.0 and 5.2.4 (Both hung and I re-installed) Windows XP Pro (SP2) Firewall is turned off JDK 1.4.2_10 1.5GB of RAM Both WindowServer and PBS.exe are running.
