limit only one request-response loop per request

Hi

Is there any way to ensure only one request-response loop occurred for each 
request?

I noticed there are 2 loops going on even for the same action "goPrevWeek", 
for instance.  It creates problem now as dealing with date, that the date is 
increased/decreased twice when ever an action is triggered.

Moreover, it worked for IE but not Firefox.  Please advise.  Thanks.
