Design question

List, I have a design question to ask of you. I have an application with an activeX control. Application passes control to the ActiveX and the ActiveX passes the control back to the application by using a directAction. This part works just fine. Now, though, I have to pass some fields from the application to the ActiveX and back to the application, and I was thinking of doing that by saving them into the session, and passing the session ID to the activeX and getting it back in the directAction.
