/Developer/Private/jam failed with exit code 1

Hello everyone,
 
I'm a WO-Newbie who has just finished drafting a sample EOM. However, as soon as I try to deploy it, I get
 
/Developer/Private/jam failed with exit code 1.
 
Whichever project-type (Direct to Web Application, WebObjectsApplication etc.), project-settings (Deployment in a Servletcontainer Web-Services etc.) or EOM (I tried some included in the examples.) I choose, that error stays. The detailed description in the Build-Results reads as follows:

I'm using  XCode 2.3 with Mac OSX 10.4.6 running on a MacBook Pro.
