Michael,

We've seen strange behaviour with our applications that we suspect has to do with NFS mounts. Our setups tend toward WebO on an XServe reading files on a Solaris box with an attached RAID. What are the symptoms that you're seeing that lead you to believe it's a file reading problem?

Best,
Corey

Hi,

I'm trying to help out a client who is experiencing some strange problems with their WO 4.5.1-based application. They are running on Solaris (v.8 I believe) and they seem to have intermittent problems reading files. I believe they are using some sort of SAN device for file storage - need to get more details on this - but I was wondering if there were any known issues with WO 4.5.1 addressing very large filesystems (multi-terrabytes of data), particularly on Solaris? It wouldn't surprise me, given the age of the technology (probably pushing 100 in "software years").

  Thanks,
