Problem in mysql connection with EOModeler

Hi, I am working on webobjects 5.2 windows version and trying to connect the mysql database with EOModeler. I am using MySql 5.0 and mysql-connector-java-2.0.14-bin.jar in order to connect it to EOModeler and MySql DB. I have done all the changes in java.plist file and also copied this jar file in the apple/library/java directory. But while trying to connect it prompts a message saying "Communication failure during handshake: Is there a server running on localhost: 3306" Is it a driver problem or what? Do anyone have idea about this. How to solve this problem?
