Couple wild guesses:

Something's wrong with your eomodel, one of the attributes isn't  
properly set up.

You're using change notification or some other method of inserting  
snapshots into the database context, and the snapshot includes  
attribute keys that aren't in the eomodel, or vice-versa. (This can  
happen when you have multiple instances with change notification and  
one has an out-of-date eomodel.)
