has anyone built an SMS, SMPP or WAP gateway system with WO? would
anyone be so kind as to share or recommend a *simple* solution for
sending SMS messages as i don't really need 2 way communication right
now.

some different solutions i've seen are:
SMTP -> Paid SMS service
Java API -> Paid SMS Service
Java API -> SMS hardware

looks like paul stringer has developed a nice solution using WO + SMS

paid services seem to be rather easy to implement, but don't seem that
cost effective in the long run.

thanks for any advice!
