[WO 5.1, OpenBase] Problems with automated primary key generation

Hi all,

For  a  while now I'm experiencing problems with automated primary key
generation  using  the  EO_PK_TABLE  table  in the database. The value
there  is not updated when new records are inserted in a corresponding
table, so after a while, inserts fail with

"...value for column episodeID is not unique..."

Since  we depend on inserts into the table (it monitors progress), our
whole application comes to a full stop. ;(

If  anyone  has  experienced  similiar  problems  or  can  provide  an
explanation, feel free to help.
