EOModeler and SQL expressions

Is there anyway to make a FetchSpecification using
"Raw SQL Expression" in EOModeler and give arguments to the SQL that are filled in runtime like it is done when creating an FetchSpecification using the Qualifier Tab??
 
I want something like this
 
Select * from ENTITY_TABLE
where name = $parameter
 
But this doent work, how can i give  aparameter to the sql??
