That's a good question.  As faults are now just EOEnterpriseObjects of some
sort or another, you should be able to just override   
  public EOFaultHandler faultHandler()
to return your sub-class.  However I've had some trouble in the past with
doing things like that.  It seems like the frameworks are not very
consistent about using such methods internally.  A sloppy practice, IMHO.

Another thing you could try is to override 
  public void turnIntoFault(EOFaultHandler handler)
and pass your handler on to super instead of the parameter.


I don't see any other place to set the handler or to set a default.
