Paul,

Ok, will do RCH stuff next week.

I don't want to get eugolf involved too early, I'd prefer to have a
complete, if basic, full ecommerce solution that has been reasonably
tested. Otherwise there is a danger of putting them off with reliability
problems which will be high on their requirements list. Also, each new org
that gets involved for ecommerce puts more work on me and slows the process
down because everyone wants something different.

The HSBC is not at all exciting, I just made it sound a bit like that. They
have got some monitoring software showing the FX quotes that are being sent
out to clients. It only has a 1 to 2 year expected life span and I think
this was reflected in the horribly design, documentation and
implementation. The monitor is showing "phantom quotes" - quotes that never
actually got sent out but are waiting for dealers to authorise. I'm not
sure how that equates to them losing money but apparently it does. I have
suggested I can fix the phantom quotes bug within a month, having spoken to
a Reuters technician (HSBC are using a Reuters trading system for FX and we
are monitoring that).
