This is standard Apple policy on *all* of their products. It's not worth fighting or bickering with Apple over *their* policy. If this sort of policy is something a customer cannot live with, then there are other companies who do give road maps (and break them big time BTW). I'd like to know what's coming as well.... but given Apple's history in the marketplace and customer's expectations for Apple to be perfect, I can understand why they have this policy. When Apple doesn't live up to expectations, it gets killed in the press. When Microsoft doesn't live up to it's road map, no one says a thing.
