Equally effective, but not equally efficient :-)

In terms of accomplishing your objective (effectiveness), you can  
produce the same artifact (component, page) using almost the same  
techniques and paradigm (component composition, MVC, HTML separated  
form code, KVC, etc.)

In terms of the cost/time of accomplishing your objectives  
(efficiency) I think WO is still superior, at least if I compare the  
outcomes of the two projects, and the feedback I am receiving from  
people that developed in WO and later in Tapestry. Developing in WO  
in still more pleasant. Moreover having developed our application  
using WOF for more than 2 years with 15 developers (total team was  
25) we never found a problem in WOF, yet we are still finding things  
in Tapestry.

Of course this might change in the future as it happened with EOF and  
Hibernate :-(
