Re: Views on WOLips vs Xcode

I mainly use Xcode, not Eclipse, although I have both installed - my
motivation being that I teach the Apple WO class every few weeks, and
I want to stay very close to the standard used for the course. If you
decide to use Xcode, it is currently better to use Xcode 2.0 rather
than 2.1, because of the bugs related to WOBuilder, as Mike and Geoff
have noted. It is also conceivable that, at some point in the
future, Apple will do something that gives Xcode a compelling
advantage over Xcode - I am not suggesting that they will, just that
it is prudent to consider that. If so, it won't be for some time.

If you are already familiar and comfortable with Eclipse, stick with
it. WOLips has its own, steeper, learning curve, compared to Xcode,
but it has a lot of advantages to compensate for that.

Good luck.

Paul
