Wrong guess. One of the things I always hated with EOAccess is its
monolithic architecture. We started too from EOAccess (and the Model
classes) by splitting it on "format" and "media" layers. We liked
this idea so much, that we ended up with bunch of frameworks and an
EOModeler-like app that helps us to convert any data format (legacy
flatfiles, XML, relational) into any other format.

Next on our list is to integrate with CoreData (as much as we can)
and add all the rest from EOF and friends that we miss. We are (for
the time being) ignoring the web (aka HTML), but we started playing
around web services.
