ABOUT THIS JOB

Every individual at Exbiblio has a wide variety of responsibilities  
and participates in many aspects of our business. As our Web  
Application Engineer, you will focus on the design and implementation  
of ground-breaking web applications using Open Source technologies.  
Specifically, you will create applications that connect the world of  
digital media with published documents through the use of hand held  
scanners and web-based services.

As an important member of our team, you will work closely with  
engineers, user experience designers, customers, and partners. You  
will help identify and execute on goals and milestones that support  
Exbiblio’s long-term strategy.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a person with practical experience and expertise.  
Please point us to examples of your work that demonstrate a high  
level of competence in the following areas:

- Object Oriented design skills
- Database design skills
- Both architecture and code level skills
- Very familiar with and regularly uses Open Source technologies
- Experience building a publicly deployed web-application
