Please visit the "Road to Las Vegas", a fun new totally WebObjects app that is a cross between "Where's Waldo" and "Adopt-a-Highway". Just launched it two days ago. Here's the url: http://lasvegas.roadmarketing.net/ I, too, noticed the "WebObjects and Web 2.0" session at WWDC. I saw some chatter here on the list about it. But, what I also noticed is that this is really the only interesting WebObjects session at WWDC this year. Why is that? Why aren't there more? Perhaps some of you remember the year 2000? There was a multitude of knowledge shared that year and a really strong WebObjects track, not just a single session. That's great for those of us who where there, those who remember, but what about those unfortunate souls who missed out? I have posted all seventeen WebObjects sessions from WWDC 2000 on our site. Perhaps not politically correct, but I thought I'd try it. Even though that was 6 years ago, that information is still VERY relevant today because WebObjects is just so far beyond any other offering. I hear people comparing D2W to scaffolding in Ruby on Rails, but they don't have a clue. I hear people talking about Java WebStart and "only if" they could figure out how to get it to work. If they watched this series of videos, they'd have an all new understanding. You can get to the videos by visiting our url then clicking the "Info" tab and then the "WebObjects Videos" subtab. I'm running them on Darwin Streaming Server. A friend tested viewing them from his home and it didn't work but from his office it did work. You'll need a fast connection so your mileage may vary. It's an experiment. I hope it works for you but if it doesn't, I'd like to hear about it. -- Aaron http://lasvegas.roadmarketing.net/ http://www.jewelryluv.com/ http://www.cocoanutstech.com/
