Howdy All,

Why is it (if it is the case) that Microsoft sees Java as a threat
but Apple doesn't?

Considering they both make desktop software platforms ... (Java sucks
is not a good answer ;-)

Why is it that Microsoft sees value in its Web platform (ASP.Net) and
Apple doesn't (WO)?

Apple seems (just guessing) to be offloading their Web platform to
Java/Ruby ...

Microsoft puts a lot of effort into their Web development platform.

Just interested in your thoughts.

Cheers,
Ashley.
