Wouldn't you rather wait how the developments of the coming months
and the WWDC 2006 news (which Apple promised to communicate within
2 weeks) pan out ?

I know by waiting nothing is achieved - that's why in I brought up the
topic of open
source.

It was rather to ask Apple a last time in the coming 12-24 months to reconsider
the "WO will never go open source" line they keep repeating for years.

If "never" always applied with Apple, there would be no iTunes on
Windows, no iPod Shuffle
 and probably no Mac on Intel today....so there is some hope.

As I was trying to point out, I don't see the rationale for Apple NOT
to do it themselves in the near future as the application server and
IDE world around them is changing rapidly.

But I appreciate your effort and will keep it bookmarked should Apple
not change their minds and fo open source OR invest more into WOs
future themselves...

PS: And I bet there will be more people willing to join in given the
news. It won't be just another
CayenneOGOWotonomyWhateverCloneFromWhoeverTriesItThisWeek next time in
my view :)
