The Henry M. Jackson Foundation is seeking a Senior WebObjects=20=20
Developer in the Washington, D.C. area for full-time employment.=20=20=20
clinworX is a suite of software modules used to manage clinical=20=20
trials, including Case Reporting Forms, biological materials,=20=20
clinical laboratory results, participant scheduling and recruiting.
The incumbent is responsible for WebObjects development, acting as=20=20
the senior developer for the clinworX software project as well as=20=20
mentoring other developers on the clinworX Development Team. The=20=20
incumbent will take direction from and report directly to the=20=20
clinworX Project Manager. Responsible for development and delivery of=20=20
the clinworX software as per specifications determined by the Project=20=20
Manager/System Architect. Acts as primary backup for the project=20=20
manager and system architect for the development staff. Acts as=20=20
senior developer, helping to manage other developers=92 efforts.
Responsible for the implementation of, and adherence to, the RAPIDDS=20=20
SDLC methodology. Responsible for documenting design, development=20=20
and test specifications as outlined in the RAPIDDS SDLC documents.=20=20=20
Collaborates with technical writer for required documentation and all=20=20
other members of the team for development purposes. Responsible for=20=20
mentoring others on the development team while using collaborative=20=20
methodologies, such as pair programming and task-oriented=20=20
development. Interacts with QA/QC and technical writing staff for=20=20
meeting overall project requirements, including testing. Must be team=20=20
oriented with an organized approach to software development. Must be=20=20
self-motivated and able to work independently when necessary. Must=20=20
have excellent communication skills. Reports directly to the clinworX=20=20
Project Manager. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Experience: 3 to 5 years of Web Objects development=20=20
