Hello:
I enhanced ExcelGenerator's EGSimpleTableParser to include the ability
to merge cells. I have the following table layout:
<tr>
<td cellType="CELL_TYPE_STRING" colspan = "2" mergeAcross =
"true"></td>
<td cellType="CELL_TYPE_STRING" colspan = "11" mergeAcross =
"true">Program Statistics</td>
</tr>
I needed the first 2 cells and the remaining 11 cells to be
"grouped"/merged together. When I do this in Excel, I use the "Merge &
Center" button/option. When I save the Excel file as an XML file I see
an attribute called "MergeAcross". So I named the attribute mergeAcross
which by default will be false. It right now only works in conjunction
with colspan > 1. Does anyone have a better suggestion for naming that
attribute?
Michael
