Apache 2.4 (.7) 'Segmentation fault'

We are deploying on Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS, so it looks like we have to use =
Apache 2.4  (Apache/2.4.7)
We have built the correct adaptor, and it pretty much works as expected.

But, after a while, Apache appears to stall.

The apache error log states:

To get it working again, I have to completely stop/start apache (a =

"WOShmem_unlock()=E2=80=9D might implicate the WebObjects adaptor.

Has anyone seen this behaviour before, or know how to fix it?
