That sounds like the package explorer perspective instead of the WOLips perspective.  Make sure the 'WO Explorer' tab is the one you are in:




You may have gotten your workspace layout into some weird state.  You can reset it by choosing "Reset Perspective..." from the window menu.

I would check hot code replace preferences for that.
