Problem with ACL and groups

Have created a page AdminGroup which contains

  * AndrewPremdas

My account is AndrewPremdas

If I give permissions either globally or locally (on a page) to
AndrewPremdas things work fine. If I give the same permissions to AdminGroup
they do not. I really need to get Group pages working, anyone offer any
ideas or help?

Example:

From moin_config.py

# access control stuff
acl_enabled = 1				
acl_rights_default = 'All:read'     
acl_rights_before  = 'AdminGroup:read,write,admin,delete,revert' 

AndrewPremdas cannot edit any pages

With 

# access control stuff
acl_enabled = 1				
acl_rights_default = 'All:read'        
acl_rights_before  = 'AndrewPremdas:read,write,admin,delete,revert' 

AndrewPremdas can edit all pages

This is happening on more than one wiki instance, under 1.2.2 and 1.2.3
