Newbie in German

I am about to create a wiki with PhpWiki 1.3.14. I want to run it in German language. However, when I change the default language in config.ini I get a server error 500. I created my own theme based on Sidebar. But I do not find where to change the layout of the action buttons. Is there any way to place a table in a wiki?
