Error messages upon configuration

upon running the configurator, I receive this message:

Configuration for PhpWiki config/config.ini
Using this configurator.php is experimental!
On any configuration problems, please edit the resulting config.ini
manually.

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in
/home/forev26/public_html/phpwiki/lib/ErrorManager.php on line 572

also, when accessing
http://foreverdyingbrightly.com/phpwiki/
I get...

You don't seem to have DBA support compiled into PHP.
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: dba_open() in
/home/forev26/public_html/phpwiki/lib/DbaDatabase.php on line 54

I don't want to completely mess up my installation. Am I missing something?
(Knowing me, it's probably something very simple :D )
