$ROEPatterns and SectionEdit...

Greetings,

is it possible to get $ROEPatterns to work when using the cookbook 
recipe SectionEdit?

My $ROEPatterns work when I click the "edit" links at the top and bottom 
of a page, which lets me edit the entire page source.

But the same $ROEPatterns don't work when I click the "edit" links that 
SectionEdit has placed at each heading.

I have tried looking at the SectionEdit PHP source code, but it is 
'''''way''''' beyond my understanding.

I'm using PmWiki version 2.4.3 and SectionEdit version 20230302.
