Can you please tell me more about it (if no other FreeBSD user with
problems speaks up, via PM and german language please)? I'm a ports
committer and are willing to work with you on the issue.

I haven't build wml since a long time, and definitively not with perl
5.8.x. You seem to know already about the issues, it would be nice if
you could share your findings with me. I already have a minor patch at
http://www.Leidinger.net/FreeBSD/port-patches/www:wml.diff, together
with the attached patch it fixes some issues I encountered 2 years ago.
