"Flat" menu instead of hierarchical navbars?

Hi guys,

I'm using the navbar feature with submenus extensively. 

This navigation menu I of course hide in my media=print CSS
style file. Instead, I would like to print something like this:

You are here: Home > Resources > Articles > Text1

How do I create this "flat" version from the existing navbar
information? Has anybody done this before?
