I like the use of static HTML (unlike many current Web sites that
involve a complicated Java/PHP/XSLT/whatever engine for simple pages,
just to add a copyright at the end) but do note that you can produce
static HTML from *every* tool, even dynamic ones:

1) wget --mirror 

2) A Squid front-end 

3) Offline generation (PHP, Cheetah, Mason and probably many other
support it)
