It could be done on thewml.org, but only assuming I (or someone else who
can volunteer the time) had priviliges to access it and fix it. At the
moment the site is heavily broken, and many things don't work as they
should.

I'm quite happy with WML as it is. But it at least needs a
site that is working properly. This is not the case for thewml.org, so I'd
like to either be able to fix it, or set up a new site.

And as I implied earlier, I do have the time to fix thewml.org. Just not
the means.
