I believe that people who don't want to use mailing lists are unlikely to
use WML ...

I know from experience that many people won't use a web based forum. I am
monitoring my eMail and telephone , monitoring another channel is just too
much (and I'll forget). There is no benefit for me to have another channel
and a lot of "dis-benefit" if I can't use eMail.
