Hi!

Even more lobbying for WML:

This saturday I'll hold a WML talk at Linuxday.at in the afternoon.
See http://www.linuxday.at/index.php?id=232 for the schedule (German
only).

Slides will be published at http://noone.org/wml/ as usual.

Feedback from my last talks in Berlin and Dresden:

The doubts against WML, I had to fight, were about missing active
developement (for luck there were Shlomis mail with future ideas a
few days before) and about the possibility of generating XHTML.

Some critics, which I had to admit that they are legitimate, are
Englisch-only docs. I'm not sure how big this problem is, since WML
is mainly used by advanced users, but lacking documentation
translations definitely is some kind of a problem.

But, more in general, I haven't seen any good solution for
multilingual POD at all yet. Anyone knows something?

And -- as always -- there were people who said "Oh, cool, but why
haven't I heard of it before?"

Oh, and another question: Anyone uses the WML front end at
http://www.panhorst.com/aww/? Just found it at Freshmeat. Shouldn't it
be linked at http://thewml.org/related/tools.html? (If we have more
such tools, IMHO a special WML section would make sense.)

		Regards, Axel
