 From what I found out, Mac OS X doesn't have gettext. I compiled  
current GNU gettext (0.16.1) (of course with shjared libraries  
enabled), and tried to use this version and the version included in  
wml, but I always get the same error. I don't find any hint anywhere  
in ./configure --help or in README or in INSTALL that wml has a  
dependency on gettext at all. Is it possible to compile wml  
completely without gettext (I'm not the least interested in localized  
messages anyway - my system is in default locale)?
