Problems in compiling WML in cygwin

Hi,

I was trying to compile WML 2.0.11 under Cygwin 1.5.24. The configure
does not give any errors, but while doing a make I get the following
error:

The error is in wml_backend/p2_mp4h/modules/intl/gettext.c

The error I get is:

Creating library file: .libs/gettext.dll.a
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[5]: *** [gettext.la] Error 1

I think it is to something with the GNU gettext library, but not sure
what is. Can somebody please help. I am actually stuck on windows for
the time being, so have to use cygwin.
