Please Make WML Wrap Text to the Width of the Browser Window

aside: Let me apologize in advance for:
   * Not lurking on this list longer before posting (been on about a 
week)
   * Not checking the archives to see if this issue has been discussed
   * Not checking to see if a bug is filed on this point (partially 
because the link I found somewhere does not work: 
http://thewml.org/bugreport/?package=WML&version=2.0.9, or even if 
shortened to http://thewml.org/bugreport)

I've noticed from several of the WML web pages that text does not wrap 
to the width of the browser window, which means that when reading a 
page, if the lines are too wide for my 800x600 screen, I have to scroll 
horizontally to read each line (or use an unreadably small alternate 
font).  

I hope those pages were not generated by WML, but, if they are, can 
someone please make the necessary changes in WML so that text wraps to 
the width of the window. 

I know this is not the easiest thing in the world to solve, and there 
are some anomalies with things like <pre> tags, but generally a pretty 
good job can be done.  

The best I usually see or strive for is to scroll horizontally for long 
<pre> lines or pictures, but the "normal" text still wraps to the width 
of the window.
