NXLucene: multiple indexes

Hi all,

As far as I can see in de code, there is only one Lucene index  
possible for an NXLucene server (dir is set in the .conf file), is  
that correct? Does anyone have any idea how easy/hard it is to make  
it serve multiple indexes? I guess it also means an extention of the  
query XML syntax to provide the index name?

Shortcut of course is to have multiple NXLucene instances running.
