errormessages in Widgets are persistent bug or feature ?

hi,

I created some custom widgets, which produced variable error-messages if 
validation failed. For each different error message, I found an entry in 
the undo-log. On our production system under heavy load, this even 
produced conflict errors. Is this a bug or a feature.
