Ok, that wasn't my only mistake. I created home.html in the root. Seems it only works (as one might expect, again with hindsight) if you create it in the Tutorial/examples/Lesson 1 folder. Again, tutorial needs to make this clear.

(of course. with hindsight :-) but nobody told me or warned me, when I followed the instructions to "add" the tutorial.

Things wend badly downhill after I installed with ID "Zope Tutorial". Starting with finding no "next" button on the first page. Then after I navigated to Lesson 1, the header.gif couldn't be found, giving an error when the created page was viewed. By the time I figured out what was going on, I'd messed around so much that I could not manage to undo everything (got some errors when I tried to undo back to Adding the tutorial). Managed to fix it by deleting the "Zope Tutorial" from the root, and re-adding. No idea if I've left stuff lying around that I shouldn't have.

Why does Zope accept IDs with spaces if they are such a bad idea?

Suggested quick fix:
Ammend the instructions for enabling the tutuorial to specify a suggested ID, and to add a warning about the dangers of choosing IDs with spaces.
