May be we > will end up with one cfg file for each package :) I don't think we need to split the cfg files: IMHO what we are looking for (or should be looking for) is not a technical solution, but something to solve a management issue. Having people responsible for a subset of packages does not involve any change in our technical infrastructure, maybe just a website where to store the documentation.
